George Sosa died at the Westchester Medical Center on November 11, 2016 after a battle with cancer, he was 56.
He was born May 31, 1960 in Manhattan to Edelmiro & Blanca (Torres) Sosa. George worked for the New York State Department of Corrections for 25 years, retiring two years ago from Sing Sing Correctional Facility.
He is survived by his son Omar of Ewing, NJ and his brothers Michael (his twin brother) and Milton. He will be reposing Thursday November 17, 2016 from 4-8pm at Leach & Thomas, Inc., 32 State Street, Ossining. He is then going to Puerto Rico for a service and burial.
