Visitation, Service for Adeline Engel

Adeline Engel of Ossining died Oct. 10, 2016, she was 92.

She was born Dec. 19, 1923 in Ossining to Thomas and Isabella (Battista) Polidoro. Adeline married John Engel Feb. 25, 1945.

She did office work at Continental Insurance and other Insurance Companies for many years. Adeline was a loving caring wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

She is survived by her husband of 71 years John, daughter Gloria McGalagly (John), grandchildren Bridget Messina (John), John T. McGalagly (Laura), great-grandchildren Francesca, Patrick and Luke.

She will be reposing from 9:30am-11:30am Friday at Leach & Thomas, Inc. 32 State Street Ossining. A Funeral Mass will follow at 12pm at St. Paul’s on the Hill Episcopal Church in Ossining. Burial at Amawalk Cemetery.
