Carmelo owned Carmelo Apollonio Contractor and just retired a few weeks ago. He was a trustee of the Christopher Columbus Lodge #692. Carmelo is survived by his wife Antonietta, son Giovanbatistta and wife Lauren, daughter Maria Lucia, brother Juan and wife Marisa, sister Modestina Velardo and husband Mario and grandchildren Carmelo &amp; Angelina who were his joy. He will be reposing Thursday 2-4 &amp; 7-9pm at Leach &amp; Thomas, Inc. 32 State Street Ossining. Funeral Mass Friday 10am at St. Ann's Church, burial St. Augustine's Cemetery.

The Nyack Famous Street Fair will be returning on Sunday, May 17 from 10 to 5 in downtown Nyack. This is the ultimate shopping and dining event you do not want to miss. The fair features over three hundred exhibitors, from four states with arts, crafts, new retail, home décor, and unique gifts set up in tents lining Main, Broadway and Cedar Streets. For the foodie’s festival foods of all kinds will be available including food trucks. Music will be located at the Gazebo on Main Street. Be sure to stop by the great restaurants and outdoor cafes with many offering fair specials. Nyack’s unique shops and boutiques are a must see.
