Visitation, Service for Dexter P. Jones

Dexter P. Jones of Ossining died November 6, 2015, he was 85. He was born August 31, 1930 in Tarrytown to Earl& Mary (Millow) Jones. Dexter began his career with the Scarsdale Police Department in 1954. He joined the Tarrytown Police Department in 1958 and served the community until his retirement in 1983.

He was pre-deceased by his parents and two brothers Earl and Garrett Jones. He is survived by his wife Anne (Herlihy), son Timothy Jones, daughters Kathleen Jones, Eileen Jones-Mireles (Ernesto), Geraldine Jones-Tomasulo (Paul), grandchildren Lydia and Devin Mireles, Kaelene and Paul Andrew Tomasulo.

He will be reposing Wed. 2-4 & 6-8pm at Leach & Thomas, Inc. 32 State St. Ossining. Mass of Christian Burial Thur. 10am at St. Augustine’s Church, burial Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
