Visitation, Service for Donald King

Mr. King worked for Briarcliff Manor and was a former Constable and Court Officer for the Village of Ossining.

Donald King, a lifelong resident of Ossining, passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2017. Donald was born in Ossining on May 22, 1935 and was the son of the late John and Bertha (Taylor) King. He was 81.

Don attended Ossining schools and was a retired Foreman with the Briarcliff Manor Water Department, retiring in the early 1990s. He was a former Constable and Court Officer for the Village of Ossining.

Don was predeceased by his wife of 54 years, Catherine (Caterino); his brothers James, John and Joseph; his sisters Anna E. Tassone and Veronica Egger. He is survived by several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday from 4 to 8 PM at Dorsey Funeral Home, Inc., 14 Emwilton Place, Ossining. A Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10 AM at St. Augustine’s Church. Interment at St. Augustine Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Lewy Body Dementia Assoc., 912 Killian Hill Road SW, Lilburn, GA 30047.
