Visitation, Service for Elizabeth A. Lynch

Elizabeth A. Lynch (nee Tracey), 89, of Ossining, NY, passed away on 8/8/17 with her family at her side.

Our beloved mom and grandmother was born and raised in Manhattan and a graduate of Julia Richman High School. She worked for many years at Sears, Roebuck on Fordham Road in the Bronx before relocating from the Bronx to Ossining in 1989. She also volunteered for Phelps Hospice, doing what she loved among people she considered ‘angels’. All who knew her loved her.

She was preceded in death by the love of her life John, whom she married on July 17th 1948, and is survived by her two sons, Patrick Lynch and Brian Lynch and his wife Sarina DiStefano-Lynch. She had four grandchildren, Sean, Genevieve, Katrina & Juliette and one great-granddaughter, Philomena. She loved them dearly.

A wake will be held on Thursday, August 10, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9pm at Dorsey Funeral Home located at 14 Emwilton Place Ossining, NY 10562. Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, August 11, 2017, at 10am at St. Theresa’s Church in Briarcliff Manor, NY.
