James G. Anderson, 78, of Ossining , NY, passed away on January 28th, 2017 at Putnam Hospital Center after a long illness.
He was born on May 4th, 1938 to John H. and Anne H. (Horban) Anderson. He attended Ossining and Croton-on-Hudson schools. He served in the U.S. Army 101st Airborne during the Vietnam Era. James worked with his father for several years as a painter, paperhanger and carpenter. He had great love for his dogs and loved to make people laugh.
He is survived by his daughter, Ann Marie of Tarrytown; son John (Tess) of Stormville, his grandchildren; Alina of Sleepy Hollow, Jonathan and Jamie of Stormville along with many loving cousins and an aunt. He was predeceased by his parents and brother John P. Anderson.

Visiting will be Saturday February 4, 2017 at Dorsey Funeral Home, Ossining, NY from 9am to 10 am with the service at Dorsey at 10 am. Interment at Dale Cemetery.
