
Maria Michelle Cafarelli, lifelong Ossining resident, passed away peacefully on Monday May 1, 2017. She was born on November 8, 1950 to Victoria (Crisci) Cafarelli and Michael Cafarelli.
The youngest of the family, Maria graduated from Ossining High School as did her siblings and many other members of the family, and worked at Reader’s Digest with her sister and retired from Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers in 2014.
She was a lifelong parishioner of St. Ann’s Church, and a member of the St. Ann’s Sodality. Maria enjoyed crocheting, listening to George Strait, watching the Hallmark Channel, and she always had great fun spending time with her many cousins, nieces, and nephews in New York and Florida.

Maria is survived by her brother Dominick (Chris) and was predeceased by her parents, her sister Marilyn (Louis) Leonardi, brothers Frank and Alphonse and many aunts and uncles.
Visiting hours will be Thursday, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at Dorsey Funeral Home on Emwilton Avenue. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Ann’s Church on Friday, at 10am, followed by interment at St. Augustine’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Ann’s Church.
