Maria Rosario Criollo Lalvay, a resident of Ossining, passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2018, at Westchester Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Maria was born in Giron, Ecuador on December 6, 1963 and was the daughter of Jose Manuel and Maria Ortencia (Pauta) Lalvay. She was 54 years old.
Maria was a member of St. Ann’s Church in Ossining.
Maria is survived by her husband Jose Manuel; her mother Maria Ortencia; her four children Jorge (Mercy), Franklin (Sandra), Nancy (Christian) and Sonia; her four siblings Francisco, Lola, Jose and Maria Dorinda; her four grandchildren Linzy, David, Alison and Ariana. Maria was predeceased by her Son Jorge; her father Jose Manuel Lalvay; her two siblings Luis and and Santos.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday from 12 noon to 6:00 pm and Monday from 5-9 pm. Dorsey Funeral Home, Inc.14 Emwilton Pl., Ossining. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:00 am at St. Ann’s Church in Ossining. The interment will follow at St. Augustine’s Cemetery in Ossining.
