Sophie Myers, a former resident of Ossining, passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 in Seaside Park, NJ. Sophie was born in Ossining, on June 21, 1926 and was the daughter of the late Frank and Tomica (Zuvich) Plesich. She was 91 and a former employee of Readers Digest.
Mrs. Myers is survived by her three sons Jan, Karl and Eric; 2 grandchildren Michelle and Nicole; three great grandchildren Stella, Hailey and Ryan. She was predeceased by her husband Donald A. in 2003 and her brothers Francis and Marion.
Visiting hours will be held Thursday from 4-7 pm at Dorsey Funeral Home, Inc.. 14 Emwilton Pl., Ossining. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 10:00 am at St. Ann’s Church. The interment will follow at St. Augustine’s Cemetery.
