John Oscar Woods of Ossining died March 26, 2015 after a long illness, he was 62.
He was born December 17, 1952 in Clardon County, SC to Joseph & Charlotte (Hampton) Woods. John was an Army veteran having served during the Vietnam Era. He worked for the VA in Montrose in Housekeeping and also drove a taxicab in Ossining for many years.
John is survived by his wife Geraldine Smith-Woods, 1 daughter, brother Glenn Woods, sisters Mary McCray, Elizabeth McFadden and several grandchildren.

He will be reposing Thursday 9am-10am at Leach & Thomas, Inc. Funeral Home 32 State St. Ossining where services will begin at 10am, burial to follow at Calverton National Cemetery in Calverton, Long Island.
