Visitation, Services for Stephen Bingell

Stephen Bingell, 66, of Ossining passed away on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at Phelps Memorial Hospital. Steve was born in Ossining on August 14, 1951 and was the son of the late Alfred and Doris (Johnson) Bingell.

Steve was a graduate of Ossining High School. He was a former painter in the Ossining area with his father, Al. He was a retired former truck driver with the NYS DOT Millwood, and retired in 2014 as a driver with UPS in Elmsford. For close to 50 years he served as a volunteer firefighter with the Ossining Fire Department, Holla Hose Co., where he was a former Chief Driver and Ex-Captain.

Steve is survived by his wife Bonnie (Derivan), his daughters Sharon and Jaclyn; two stepchildren, Peter Calchera and Amy Roca; his sister Kathy Huey; and six grandchildren: Stephanie, Paul, Alana, Jamielynn, Matthew and Lila. He was predeceased by his son Stephen Bingell, Jr.

Visiting hours will be held at Dorsey on Monday, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with religious and Fire Department services at Dorsey at 7:00 pm. Interment private.
