Visiting Hours are March 31 for Dominick DiLecce

Dominick DiLecce of Hyde Park passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2015. Dominick was born on December 12, 1932 and was the son of the late Nicola and Domenica ((Steglienese) DiLecce. He was 82.

Dominick was a Veteran of US Army during the Korean War. He was a retired Banker with the Bank of NY. He was also an avid traveler with his car and visited all of the States except Alaska. His passion was sports and he was a fan of the Mets, Rangers and the Giants. Dominick also enjoyed being active and around people.

Mr. DiLecce is survived by his wife of 56 years, Helene (Fichman); his two children Christina (Michael) Vaczi and Michael; two siblings (two predeceased); six grandchildren Lauren (Matt) Hover, Samantha, Olivia Vaczi, Michael, Matthew and Paige Vaczi.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Dorsey Funeral Home in Ossining. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:00 am at St. Augustine’s Church, http://www.staugny.org/. The interment will follow at St. Augustine’s Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society.
