Joseph Henry Kappel of Ossining died May 16, 20140, he was 79.
He was born April 8, 1935 in Ossining to Joseph & Mary (Galto) Kappel.
Joe worked as a heating mechanic for Dynamic Fuel in Ossining for many years. He was a long time member of the Ossining Boat & Canoe Club.
Joe was pre-deceased by his wife Anna Marie and son Michael. He is survived by his sons Joseph (Lena), David (Jeanne), daughter Dawn Toich (Joseph), sisters Elizabeth Grasso, Rose Mekulik, 5 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and companion Rosemarie Sedlmayer.
Joe will be reposing Tues. 2-4 & 7-9pm at Leach & Thomas, Inc. 32 State St. Ossining, Mass of Christian Burial Wed.10am at St. Ann’s Church, burial at St. Augustine’s Cemetery.
