India DiSisto of Ossining died May 28, 2014—she was 90.
She was born Apr. 23, 1924 in Sassinoro, Italy to Domenico & Teresangiola (Santucci) Velardo.
India worked as a seamstress in Ossining. She was pre-deceased by her husband Michele who died Feb. 6, 2014.
India is survived by her son Pietro DiSisto (Gladys) of Mt. Kisco, daughter Carmen Murana (Joseph) of Ossining, grandchildren David, Paul, Jennifer, Michael, great-grandchildren Dustin, Izabella, Stephen, Jacqueline, Juliette, brothers Antonio & Luciano Velardo and sister Italia Santucci.
She will be reposing Fri. 2-4 & 7-9pm at Leach & Thomas, Inc. 32 State St. Ossining. Mass of Christian Burial Sat. 10am at St. Ann’s Church, burial St. Augustine’s Cemetery.
