Visiting Hours are Oct. 22 for Stella Modesta

Stella Modesta of Ossining died Oct. 19, 2014, she was 79.

She was born Nov. 5, 1934 to Joseph F. Pileggi & Gertrude Partelow.

Stella worked for many years at The Westchester Inn in Ossining and later at St. Ann’s School.

She is survived by her son Frederick T. Modesta Jr (Desiree), daughter Kim Ann Palka, sisters Evelyn Dolcimascolo, Valerie Coletti, Eleanor DeMilio, Veronica Felicione, grandchildren John, Samantha & Liam. She was pre-deceased by her husband Fred and brothers Dominick & Joseph Pileggi.

Stella will be reposing Wed. 6-8pm and Thurs 2-4& 6-8pm at Leach & Thomas, Inc. 32 State St. Ossining. Mass of Christian Burial Fri. 10am at St. Ann’s Church, burial St. Augustine’s Cemetery.
