Maria Fonseca Beato, a resident of Ossining, passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2013.  Maria was born in Corredoura, Portugal on December 31, 1925.  She was 87. Maria immigrated to Ossining in 1966.  She was a communicant of St. Ann's Church and worked at area dress factories as a seamstress retiring from Stewart Manufacturing. Maria is survived by her 2 children Joe (Elizabeth) and Maria (Andrew) Silverstein; her 4 grandchildren Nick, Chris, Lauren and Zachary.  She was predeceased by her husband Jose on April 24, 2011. Visiting hours will be held Friday, 2-4 &amp; 7-9 pm at Dorsey.  The Funeral Mass will be held Saturday at 10:00 am at St. Ann's Church.  Interment at St. Augustine's Cemetery.
