Wake for Walter H. Strobel

Walter H. Strobel of Ossining died May 7, 2016, he was 69.

He was born February 24, 1947 in Stuttgart, Germany to Carl & Lina (Schmid) Strobel. Walter served in the US Army during the Vietnam War.

He worked as an auto mechanic for over 40 years for Jackson Lincoln Mercury and later for Pleasantville Ford. Walter loved boating and spent much time on the water.

He is survived by his wife Nancy, daughter Tanya Powell, step-daughter Melissa Zingaro, brother Uli Strobel, sister Marlene Volper, 6 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and nephews Richie & Michael.

A memorial wake will be held Saturday May 14th from 2pm – 4pm at Leach & Thomas, Inc. 32 State Street Ossining.
