Yorktown Police Arrest Ossining Man in Credit Card Case

The investigation has been ongoing since Sept. 27.

Larry S. Johnson, 26, faces a felony charge of criminal possession of stolen property.

Yorktown police began investigating the theft of a credit card from a vehicle on Sept. 27, 2014, noting that the card was used at a local gas station after it was stolen. A suspect was identified by checking surveillance camera footage.

Officer Keith Fortunato found Johnson Jan. 30 on East Main Street in Mohegan Lake.

Police said Johnson, an Ossining resident, was questioned at Yorktown Police headquarters and arrested. He was arraigned and sent to Westchester County Jail on $5,000 bail.

He is due back in Yorktown town court Feb. 3.
