L.I.'s Largest Car Show At TOBAY Beach Rescheduled To October 3rd (longislandmediagroup.com) — Town of Oyster Bay officials have rescheduled Long Island's largest car show at TOBAY Beach for Saturday, October 3, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., with free admission for spectators. Residents can enjoy hundreds of classic and exotic vehicles, live music from That 70's Band, food trucks, vendors, and family-friendly trophy competitions, including a Kids' Choice Award.

Officials across Nassau say they're prepared for this weekend's nor'easter (news12.com) — Oyster Bay officials say they're ready for this weekend's nor'easter, building protective sand berms at Tobay Beach to shield tunnels and combat erosion while warning residents that storm severity is still uncertain. Across Nassau County, towns are closing beaches, moving equipment to higher ground, clearing drains, and urging people to stay indoors and avoid flooded roads.
