Board Of Ed Ballot Reopened Until Tuesday
Candidate bows out of race, chance to get on ballot reopened.

The Oyster Bay-East Norwich School District has reopened for one day after a candidate bowed out of the race.
According to district officials, Board Vice President Jim Mattel withdrew from the race. His withdrawal required the submission process to be reopened.
One candidate, John McAvoy, has already been placed on the ballot, officials said.
The submission process will be open until 5 p.m. Tuesday so there will be a window of opportunity for new candidates.
