Wahooo Market by John Brings the Joy to the Long Island Fall Festival

Wahooo Market by John Brings the Joy to the Long Island Fall Festival

The Huntington Village gift shop is a festival sponsor, will have a booth at Heckscher Park, and is running Festival specials in the store all weekend long, including 15 percent off.

Huntington Village’s newest gift shop is headed to Heckscher Park. Wahooo Market by John, the store at 328A Main Street run by John and Mark X. Cronin, the father-and-son team behind John’s Crazy Socks, will have a booth at this year’s Long Island Fall Festival. Wahooo Market is also proud to be a sponsor of the festival, presented by the Huntington Township Chamber of Commerce.

The festival runs all weekend and the vendor booths will be open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.  You’ll find the Wahooo Market booth on Prime Street.

For John, the Fall Festival is a family tradition. “I love the Fall Festival. I’ve been going on the carnival rides since I was a little kid,” said John Cronin, co-founder and Chief Happiness Officer of Wahooo Market. “Now I’m so excited that we have a booth at the festival.”

“This is such a fun time, and people come from all over Long Island,” said Mark X. Cronin, John’s father and co-founder. “We’re so excited to meet people at the Fall Festival and for them to learn more about Wahooo Market by John.”

Festival Specials All Weekend Long

Can’t get enough festival fun? Walk over to the store. All weekend long, Wahooo Market will have Festival specials in the store, including 15 percent off everything in the store. We’ll have free gifts, music and fun, fun, fun.

What You’ll Find at Wahooo Market

Wahooo Market grew out of ten years of John’s Crazy Socks, and John and Mark celebrated the store’s new name on October 1 with a parade through Huntington Village and cake and ice cream for the community. Inside, you’ll find much more than socks: apparel, jewelry, home items, candy, cookies, coffee, and fabulous gifts, along with the John’s Crazy Socks you already love.

Many of the gifts are made by people with differing abilities or by companies that employ them. More than half of the Wahooo Market team has a differing ability, and every purchase helps create jobs and show what people with differing abilities can do. Wahooo Market also continues the giving-back tradition John started with John’s Crazy Socks, beginning with five percent of earnings to Special Olympics New York.
