Cops: Pedestrian Struck in Oyster Bay

A pedestrian is in an unknown condition after being struck by a vehicle Friday afternoon in Oyster Bay, Nassau County Police confirmed.

An unknown victim was struck by a vehicle near the intersection of South Street and Summit Street, police said.

Cops said they received the call at 1:05 p.m. Friday.

Officers said the severity of the victim's injuries are not yet known, but ambulance crews were called to the scene.
