Cops: South Street Business Burglarized
Oyster Bay business one of 11 spots reporting break-ins, police said.

A South Street business was one of 11 break-ins reported within one week in the Oyster Bay area, according to Nassau County Police.
Jericho, Farmingdale, Bethpage, Levittown, Massapequa, Hicksville, Westbury, and Oyster Bay communities reported residential and commercial burglaries, cops reported.
In Oyster Bay, a South Street business was burglarized overnight, cops said. Between 11:45 p.m. July 6 and 6 a.m. July 7, cash was stolen from a register, police reported.

The Second Precinct reported the following burglaries:
- June 28: Burglary; Hazelwood Road, Jericho; assorted jewelry stolen.
- July 1: Burglary; Franklin Place, Farmingdale; subjects assaulted victims and ransacked a bedroom but stole nothing.
- July 2: Burglary; Broadway, Bethpage; DVDs, XBox controllers taken.
- July 3: Burglary; North Newbridge, Levittown; assorted jewelry stolen.
- July 4: Burglary; East Drive, North Massapequa; sliding door screens cut, nothing taken.
- July 4: Burglary; Broadway, Hicksville; rear unlocked door entered, cash taken.
- July 5: Burglary; Acre Lane, Hicksville; front door broken, dog injured, nothing taken.
- July 6: Burglary; South Street, Oyster Bay; cash taken from register.
- July 7: Burglary; Harnat Court, Hicksville; ransacked room, 36-inch and 55-inch televisions taken, rear bedroom window entered.
- July 7: Burglary; Hickory Lane, Levittown; opened first floor window, nothing taken.
- July 8: Burglary; Cantiague Lane, Westbury; forced entry, nothing taken.
