East Williston Mayor Takes Over For Kreitzman as NCVOA President

Nassau County Village Officials Association swears in officers.

East Williston Mayor David Tanner has been named president of the Nassau County Village Officials Association.

At a meeting June 27 at La Marmite in Williston Park, Tanner became the 83rd president of the organization. His term is for one year.

Tanner takes over for outgoing NCVOA president Ralph Kreitzman, the mayor of Great Neck Village, who served as president since 2011.

Also at the meeting, Village of Plandome Manor Mayor Barbara Donno was sworn in as 1st vice president, Village of Westbury Mayor Peter Cavallaro as 2nd vice president and Old Brookville Mayor Bernard Ryba as treasurer.

Founded in 1925, NCVOA is comprised of the 64 Incorporated Villages in Nassau County with nearly 435,000 residents. The organization serves as an advocate for municipal governments and residents on local, state and national levels and provides village officials with a forum for exchanging ideas and experiences in the administration of their municipal duties.
