Last Chance: Apply for DC Student Leadership Program
OBHS and St. Dominic's students have until Monday to apply.

and students: take note.
The LNESC National Office is seeking outstanding Latino high school juniors and seniors to participate in the 2012 Washington Youth Leadership Seminar in October. The application is due Monday.
The seminar, held October 3-7, gives students the chance to offer their opinions directly to policymakers and leaders. By encouraging their own leadership development, the program helps students learn how to apply their skills at home.

During the program, students will work with LNESC and LULAC representatives from across the country to develop a platform of initiatives of importance to Latino youth. Students will then meet with policymakers in the field, speak with think tank representatives, and collaborate on a position piece and send it to their congressional representatives.
