
Parents, take note: if your child will be five years old this coming Dec. 1, it's time to register them for kindergarten in the Oyster Bay-East Norwich School District.
Register your child for kindergarten at Roosevelt School in Oyster Bay by Thursday from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. School personnel and PTA representatives will be on hand to answer questions.
To register, parents must bring three things:

1. Proof of their child's age. A birth certificate or passport can be used.
2. Two proofs of residency within the district, which the district has divided into "A" and " B" categories, must be presented at registration. One from each group must be brought:

3. A recent copy of a physical exam, dental exam, immunization record, and lead level.

Students currently in the district's Pre-K program will still have to register, as registration is not automatic.
Kindergarten orientation will be held in May for incoming students.
