LIU Post Presents 'LIU Classic Polo Match and Lawn Party'

Long Island University will be presenting its inaugural “LIU Classic Polo Match and Lawn Party” on Saturday, September 15, between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM at the historic Meadowbrook Polo Club in Old Westbury, NY.

Along with a day of exciting polo matches, the event will also feature informal dining, community vendors, lawn games, a children’s activity area and a silent auction. Tickets range from $125 (adults), to $75 (seniors 65+) to $50 (12-18 years of age). Children under the age of 12 are free; $40 for students (with ID).

All proceeds from the event will benefit LIU Post’s new Veterinary Technology Program which opened this fall, as well as its Equine Studies Program. The Veterinary Technology Program, the first such four-year program on Long Island, prepares students for careers in a variety of areas, while the Equine Studies Program prepares students for careers in stable or racetrack management, riding instructors, and more.
