New Superintendent Announces Office Hours

As a new era of leadership begins in Oyster Bay Schools, Superintendent Laura Seinfeld will greet her new community face to face.

In an announcement on the district website, Seinfeld said she would hold monthly office hours in the McCouns Lane administrative offices.

The first round of office hours is scheduled for Aug. 21 from 8-10 a.m. and 3-5 p.m. 

"Parents, students, staff and community members are welcome and encouraged to meet with me to share their thoughts, ask a question or discuss an issue," she wrote in the announcement.

The office hours, which are open to parents, students, staff, and community members, will reportedly run for about 15 minutes. Meetings are not open to the media, sales persons or representatives of professional organizations.
