Voters Approve OBEN School Budget, Board Member Elected

Oyster Bay-East Norwich residents approved a 2016-17 school budget on Tuesday.

The $55,866,883 budget was approved by a 76 percent margin of722-222. The budget is a .83 percent increase in spending over the current year and it comes with a 0.15 percent tax levy increase.

Voters also elected Robin Dando, who ran unopposed, to the OBEN Board of Education.
