Cops: Oyster Bay Man Faces Pot Charges
Police say they found a man with over eight ounces of marijuana, another in possession.

An Oyster Bay man faces possession charged after police say they found him with over eight ounces of marijuana.
Old Brookville Police said that at 11:20 p.m. Sunday, they saw Joshua Arjaz, 24, of Oyster Bay, driving a 2003 Nissan Pathfinder erratically on Route 106. Cops said he was traveling south and pulled into the Stop & Shop parking lot.
Once in the lot, cops say Arjaz left his car and joined Brian Libert, 29, of Hicksville, in a 2012 Honda Civic.

Officers approached the Civic and saw a clear plastic bag under Arjaz's pant leg, detectives said. Police reported the bag contained about eight ounces of marijuana.
Both men were arrested at the scene without incident, cops said.

Libert is charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and was given an appearance ticket for First District Court for May 3.
Arjaz is charged with third degree criminal possession of marijuana and fourth degree criminal sale of marijuana. He will be arraigned Monday at First District Court.
