Oyster Bay will have a new superintendent of schools come July.
The Oyster Bay-East Norwich Board of Education approved Dr. Laura Seinfeld as the new Superintendent of Schools on Tuesday.
Seinfeld is currently the Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum & Instruction for the Hewlett-Woodmere School District. Seinfeld served as the Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum & Instruction for the OBEN School District for five years before heading to Hewlett-Woodmere in 2010.
Seinfeld will officially take the reins of the OBEN District July 1.
