Peggy (Daly) Lillis was a lifelong Brooklyn resident. She
grew up in Bergen Beach and taught Kindergarten at PS 198 in South Brooklyn, and
lived in Marine Park. Peggy lost her life at the age of 56 from Clostridium difficile (C. diff), a deadly
but preventable bacterial infection.

C. diff kills 30,000 Americans every year -
more than drunk driving or HIV – and harms 500,000 more.

Her family started PLMF to raise awareness and
save lives.
