Armed Robber Holds Up Park Slope McDonald's, Police Say
A man flashed a firearm and bagged up $2,700 at the Ninth Street fast food joint on Sunday, authorities said.

PARK SLOPE, BROOKLYN — An armed robber bagged up $2,700 to-go from a McDonald's in Park Slope, police said.
The Sunday evening robbery unfolded when a man walked into the eatery near Ninth Street and Fifth Avenue, authorities said. A surveillance still shows him, decked in red flannel and sunglasses, hold what appears to be a phone to his ear.

It wasn't the only thing he held, authorities said.

The man flashed a firearm and demanded McDonald's employees empty the fast food joint's cash register and safe, NYPD stated in a release. They did so and the man ran off with $2,700 "to parts unknown," the release states.
It all played out at about 8:50 p.m., police said.
