DIY and salvage expert, Joanne Palmisano, will be at Build It Green!NYC in Gowanus, Brooklyn on Tuesday, October 8th (6-8pm), showcasing her top projects and offering tips during her “How to Design and Decorate with Salvage” presentation. Joanne will then lead a tour through BIG!NYC’s reuse center, offering ideas and advice on reclamation projects. Joanne will also be answering questions and signing her books, which will be 25% off for attendees!
Joanne Palmisano is an award-winning interior designer and author of the internationally acclaimed book, Salvage Secrets (W.W. Norton). She is a contributing designer for DIY Network, with over 150 projects online, including a video series on Salvage Design. Joanne's second salvage book is coming out in May 2014 and she is currently writing for the Williams-Sonoma's blog, Cultivate.
