BOERUM HILL, BROOKLYN — More than 20 new apartments near the Barclays Center have hit the affordable housing lottery, though only for those making at least $63,000 or $79,000 per year.

The new apartments, found in a building at 346 Bergen St., include three studio units, seven one-bedrooms and 10 two-bedroom spots.

They will go to those making around 130 percent of the area median income.

For the studio spots, that means applicants should make at least $63,326 per year and no more than $103,480 for one person applying or a combined $118,300 if there are two people applying. The rent for these spots will be $1,847 per month.

For the one-bedroom spots, which will cost $2,324 per month, applicants should make at least $79,680 per year.

The two-bedroom spots will long go to those making at least $96,103 per year. A minimum of two people can apply to live in the two-bedroom units. Rent is $2,803 per month.

The deadline to apply is July 29.

The Bergen Street building includes a balcony in some units, a card-operated laundry room parking on a first come, first served basis.

It is one of several Brooklyn buildings on the affordable housing lottery, including two in Bed-Stuy, one in Flatbush and one in Downtown Brooklyn.
