Department of Buildings publishes weekly complaints statistics and our team have analyzed the week ending on August 17, 2013.
As of right now, there are 1,419 active Building Violation complaints, which include work without a permit, illegal conversions (illegal apartments, etc.), construction accidents, site safety, and other violations. This is an increase from the week ending on August 10. Although many older complaints were resolved, the city added new complaints as visible on the Building Violations Interactive Map published weekly by the BUILDVIO team
