Check out Week One (July 1-5), You Gotta Have Art!*, led by Alder Suttles and Emily Connuck. *for children entering grades 2-6 Alder Suttles is a practicing artist living in Brooklyn and has shown her work in various exhibitions around the country. She holds a BFA in Photography from Maryland Institute College of Art, a Masters degree in Art Education from School of Visual Arts, and a New York State Teacher Certification. Emily Connuck, a Brooklyn native and recent Tulane University graduate, has been working with children in the arts since high school when she volunteered in visual art classes for children at the Brooklyn Museum of Art. Since then she worked as a camp counselor at Frost Valley YMCA, interned at the Brooklyn Children's Museum with the Brooklyn Cultural Adventures Program, and worked with various public schools in New Orleans.
