The new spot, at 148 7th Avenue, Brooklyn, NY, 11215, aims to be the top community-driven destination for frozen yogurt and desserts.

Lifelong friends Eric Farber and Dylan Vas met in college and built careers in finance and consulting before deciding to go into business together. After exploring several franchise opportunities, they chose 16 Handles for its strong leadership team and their belief that frozen yogurt was ready for a comeback.

Their first location in Cobble Hill opened in July 2025 and quickly became a neighborhood gathering spot. Park Slope is the next step in the pair’s plans to open more 16 Handles shops across Brooklyn and Queens.

“Opening a store is a lot like parenthood,” said Farber. “Once you have your first, you always want to be around it.” “We loved the experience in Cobble Hill so much that we couldn’t wait to have another,” added Vas.

16 Handles Park Slope will celebrate its Grand Opening on Saturday, October 24, kicking off the festivities with a ribbon-cutting ceremony to welcome the neighborhood to its newest frozen yogurt destination. The first 100 guests will enjoy free frozen yogurt, and everyone who stops by until 5 PM opening day will get 50% off their treats.
