Disco Ball Crafting with Shaun

Come to BIG!NYC Astoria and upcycle old CDs into your very own Disco Ball!!! Shaun Leonardo
from Socrates Sculpture Park will be leading this class and showing you
just how it is done from disco ball crafting to salsa dancing! That's
right friends, he will show you some dance moves while your project
dries! And trust me, he knows what he's talking about.

Originally
from Queens, Shaun Leonardo graduated with an M.F.A. from the San
Francisco Art Institute in 2005, returning to New York City where he has
acted as the Park’s Special Events Coordinator for over 5 years. Now in
his role as Director of Public Programs & Community Affairs, Shaun
has the opportunity to take his experience overseeing the special events
and expand his focus to all public programming including Socrates
Sculpture Park’s education workshops.
