Duo Steal Older Woman's Purse From Brooklyn Mall: NYPD
The men snatched the woman's purse off of a bench in Applebee's and ran away with her credit cards, ID, jewelry, and more, police said.
PARK SLOPE, BROOKLYN — Two men followed an older woman into a mall on the border of Park Slope and stole her purse this week, police said.
The duo trailed a 59-year-old woman into the Atlantic Terminal mall, located at 139 Flatbush Avenue, on Feb. 21, according to the NYPD.
Eventually, the woman put her purse down on a bench in Applebee's at which point the two people snatched it and ran off, police said.

Police captured surveillance photos of the men in the mall, but as of Wednesday — several days after the theft — no arrests have been made and an investigation into the robbery remains ongoing, an NYPD spokesperson said.
