A 5.8 magnitude earthquake reportedly felt from Virginia to here
An earthquake hit Brooklyn early Tuesday afternoon.
"I felt the building swaying and I was tossed from one wall to the other," said one Park Slope landlord on President Street, who asked not be identified.
According to reports, a 5.8 magnitude quake hit Virginia and could be felt in New York and down through North Carolina.
