Forced Laughter Comedian/cartoonist Michael Kupperman and geek/indie rapper Adam WarRock are bringing their mix of comedy and music back to Littlefield in Brooklyn, whether you wanted it or not. Kupperman, whose work has appeared in The New Yorker, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Adult Swim, and Comedy Central's TV Funhouse, and WarRock, who recently showcased at SXSW and has gained widespread Internet acclaim for his brand of pop-cultural indie hip hop, are here to force you to enjoy a night of comedy and music. Joined by some of the brightest comedy stars in the city, it's a night out on the town that you'll enjoy, mostly against your will.
Adam WarRock is a nerd and geek emcee who raps about popular culture, comic books, and other geek topics. He’s bringing his brand of Silver Age Hip Hop to Meltdown Comics, where he’ll rap about Marvel and DC comics, Doctor Who, and other geek touchstones on the heels of his best-selling album, The War For Infinity and the acclaimed Oni Press Mixtape.
Michael Kupperman is an American cartoonist and illustrator. His work has appeared in The New Yorker, The New York Times, and The Wall Street Journal, among others. His first book, Snake 'n' Bacon's Cartoon Cabaret, was released in 2000 and portions were animated for Comedy Central's TV Funhouse. In 2009, Michael created the animated show Snake 'n' Bacon for Adult Swim and released his second book, Tales Designed to Thrizzle: Volume 1, which received a starred review from Publishers Weekly.
