Ida / Babe the Blue Ox / and more

This event is 21 and over.

With original members back in town, slowcore pioneers IDA perform their 1996 classic "I Know About You" in its entirety. Critics darlings Beekeeper recreate their 1996 cult favorite "Anywhere Will Do." And the much revered pop-smith Adam Elk (née Cohen) will play the brilliant DIY treasure "Acorn" from 1989 with help from his bandmates in Mommyheads and special guests.

And the still mighty Babe the blue OX will play, start to finish, its never-before-heard upcoming album "Babe the blue OX and Other Musical Instruments" just to keep things slightly au courant. All proceeds benefit the family of Jan Kotik, a brilliant musician who was intimately involved in all the above musical acts. Each year, his friends get together to celebrate his life and music around the time of his birthday February 7. Jan's brother, artist Tom Kotik, will bring his brilliant band Sportsman's Paradise to the party.
