The Joshua Shneider Easy-Bake Orchestra is a 17 piece ensemble comprised of some of NYC's most illustrious and adventurous improvisors, interpreting the music and arrangements of Joshua Shneider. He has written for and performed with a wide variety of artists, including Art Blakey alumni pianists Donald Brown and James Williams, composer Bob Telson (The Gospel at Colonus, Calling You), vocalist Bobby Caldwell and Playwright Eve Ensler among others. Melodic, grooving, searching and harmonically inventive, the music draws inspiration from Jazz, R&B, Latin and American Pop elements.
