Music is Odane Whilby's way to express what has been impressed upon him. He has been quoted as saying, "Artists are impressionable and they respond to their stimuli by creating their art form."
Odane's musical roots are set in gospel music, which he heard in his predominately Caribbean church growing up. This, combined with different styles of Christian music ranging from The Gaither's and Jimmy Lee Swaggart to Fred Hammond and Kirk Franklin, gave him a love for music that continues to drive his passion to this day.
Odane is currently working on his first EP due out in April 2012. He is raising funds to make this dream a reality through IndieGoGo. If you like what you hear, please consider donating a few dollars to this amazingly talented singer's dream.
