Led by trombonist/vocalist Alex Asher, People’s Champs feature some of New York’s top musicians, who also perform regularly with Slavic Soul Party!, Meta and the Cornerstones, Baye Kouyate, Jo Jo Kuo and his Afrobeat Collective, Sister Sparrow and the Dirty Birds, Afrodesia, Nation Beat and many others.
