The Land of Leland / Jefferson Hamer / Sarah Gregory

Justin Keller formed Land of Leland in 2008 after recording his eponymous debut EP, and realized he needed some other folks to bring the songs to life. He is still the main song-writer, but the songs have taken on a more extroverted character in live settings due in large part to the musicians with whom he's lucky to work. Members of the band also play or have played with Danielson, St. Vincent and Plainville. The band is currently working on it's first full-length record, which will be out as soon as possible.

Jefferson Hamer is a singer and guitarist based in Brooklyn, NY, recognized as an "appealing voice" by the New York Times in 2011. He has performed his original and traditional music at the Telluride Bluegrass Festival, the High Sierra Music Festival, and the Strawberry Music Festival. His songs have been recorded by touring artists including Joy Kills Sorrow and Reed Foehl. He and songwriter Anais Mitchell are currently writing and recording an album of new adaptations of the 19th century English and Scottish Popular Ballads collected by Francis James Child. His newest record, a solo-acoustic 7″ vinyl titled This Ragged World We Spanned, was released in 2011 on Brooklyn's Media Blitz label. He Recently lead 20 musicians in the much acclaimed debut performance of The Brooklyn Ballad Theatre, which blended mostly British folk ballads with theatrics.

Sarah Gregory has had the distinct honor to sing on many amazing records, such as Kelley McRae's Never Be and Highrises in Brooklyn, Andrew Rose Gregory's The Color Red and Other Songs About the Power of Love and The Song of Songs, Pony of Good Tidings' upcoming Zing Zong!, BiFrost's Come, Oh Spirit and Salvation is Created, The Welcome Wagon's Welcome to the Welcome Wagon, Sufjan Steven's All Delighted People and The Age of Adz. She can be heard more prominently in her collaborative Gregory Brothers' web series Auto-tune the News and Songify This. Oh. And she was nominated for MTV's O Music Awards' "Hottest Nerd."
