Three Slope food-book authors talk about food

Three local authors of food-related books will talk about food, the food industry, going crazy over food requirements, school food, food regulation, cooking, local food, and a wide and spicy array of other food issues. Fran Hawthorne is the author of "The Overloaded Liberal" (Beacon Press) and "Inside the FDA" (John Wiley & Sons).  Jan Poppendieck is the author of "Free for All" (University of California Press).
