Firefighter Hurt In Park Slope Blaze, Says FDNY

A second-alarm fire broke out on 11th Street early Friday morning and sent one firefighter to the hospital, said the FDNY.

PARK SLOPE, BROOKLYN — A firefighter was injured in a blaze that broke out in a Park Slope home early Friday morning, according to the FDNY.

The second-alarm fire erupted in the attic of a home on 11th Street near Sixth Avenue around 12:35 a.m., the FDNY said on Twitter.

One firefighter was injured in the blaze and rushed to Methodist Hospital, said an FDNY spokesman.

Firefighters had put out the fire by about 1:15 a.m., according to an FDNY tweet.
